We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to support the General Maintenance Supervisor. The supervisor role is a critical one at BRP, where you will be able to demonstrate your talent for mobilizing and engaging your employees. In addition to daily challenges, you will work in a team that values collaboration, teamwork and skill. You will have the latitude to plan, organize, supervise and control operations in order to meet needs, while ensuring optimal management of defined performance indicators. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO: Regularly communicate and explain tasks and expectations to your team members to meet established performance objectives in terms of occupational health and safety, quality, productivity, employee development and cost management, as well as keep management informed of any critical issues. Act as a role model and coach by promoting teamwork, innovation, development and autonomy of work teams in a healthy and communicative environment. Promote teamwork and cooperate collaboratively with different internal and external partners in setting goals and solving problems. Mentor and support a committed team that is engaged in continuous improvement and waste elimination. Maintain close relationships with customers, with the aim of limiting the impact on their operations. Analyze, identify the causes of and provide solutions to non-conformities and health and safety risks while mobilizing your team to search for innovative and sustainable solutions. Manage and closely monitor budgets allocated to equipment repairs in the Assembly and Manufacturing plants. Play an influential role with respect to equipment durability via various KPIs from the CMMS. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: A diploma of college studies (DEC) in Industrial Maintenance Technology or equivalent. Very good general technical knowledge. Supervisory experience would be an asset. Experience in maintenance planning and proficiency with the following software: CMMS, Word, Excel and SAP. Knowledge of maintenance processes. An excellent communicator with good influencing skills, all while ensuring the development of your team. Knowledge of the manufacturing environment and the ability to analyze and resolve issues Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work based on a partnership approach (human resources/CRT/Management/customers). Good organizational skills, good management of priorities and a sense of initiative.
