We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Patching & Software Deployment Engineer with expertise in Windows Server administration, patch management, software deployment, automation, and reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting capabilities, PowerShell scripting experience, and a solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure services. Experience with MS SQL Server Reporting, SCCM, and ITIL processes will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities • Manage and execute enterprise-wide Windows Server patching and software deployment activities. • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server OS issues during incidents and production outages. • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate patching, deployment, compliance tracking, and reporting processes. • Monitor patch compliance and ensure adherence to organizational SLAs and security standards. • Generate operational and compliance reports using MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL queries. • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to plan and implement patching activities. • Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks. • Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Required Skills • Expert-level experience in Windows Server Patching and Software Deployment. • Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows Server Operating Systems. • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation experience. • Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services. • Experience in MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and report generation. • Strong documentation and technical authoring skills. • Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes. • Ability to work in a fast-paced enterprise environment and manage critical production systems. Preferred Skills • Experience managing Microsoft SCCM/MECM Infrastructure. • Knowledge of T-SQL for report development and data analysis. • Exposure to enterprise monitoring and automation tools. • Understanding of Windows security and compliance requirements. Certifications (Preferred) • ITIL Foundation Certification. • Microsoft Certifications related to Windows Server, SCCM, or Azure Administration.
