Salesperson/Delivery Driver

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering products efficiently and safely to customers, ensuring a positive experience. The Delivery Driver will play a vital role in maintaining our company's reputation by providing timely and professional service. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods to various locations within designated routes Load and unload merchandise, often requiring lifting and proper merchandising techniques Ensure accurate delivery by verifying orders, pricing, and customer details Upsell additional products or services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and sales Maintain organized delivery schedules and routes for efficiency Communicate effectively with customers to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and address concerns Collect payments when necessary and process transactions accurately Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Experience Prior experience in commercial driving or delivery services is preferred Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills Knowledge of sales techniques Ability to perform merchandising tasks and manage pricing information accurately Familiarity with basic math for handling transactions and measurements Basic computer knowledge This position offers an engaging work environment where professionalism, efficiency, and exceptional customer service are valued.
