TIRE TECHNICIAN Temporary long term – UNIONIZED Position to fill 1 Code MM26-15 Hourly rate between $44.56 and $50.36 Deadline to apply September 3, 2026 The work location is in Nunavik and the normal work schedule is 11 hours per day on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest. His main tasks include: * Monitoring tires; * Performing tire repairs; * Conducting tire rotations; * Carrying out any other related tasks associated with the position. Qualifications * Hold a High School Diploma. * Have 2 to 5 years of experience in tire repair. * Basic knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics. * Experience in large-scale tire maintenance. * Ability to diagnose wear and premature tire damage. * Valid Class 3 or 1 driver's license. Assets * Experience in the mining industry. * Vocational Diploma (DEP) in Construction Equipment Mechanics. * Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset to facilitate and enhance our internal communications. The technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and rotation of tires while ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. They will also perform diagnostic checks to identify wear and premature damage on tires.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma and possess 2 to 5 years of experience in tire repair, along with a valid class 3 or 1 driver's license. Basic knowledge of heavy equipment mechanics and experience with large-dimension tires are required.
