Role summary This role supports business development by providing an engaging and professional first point of contact for all clients and guests and providing administrative support services for the Canoe Financial Calgary Office. Key responsibilities · Perform reception services acting as first point of contact, answering incoming calls and greeting guests with a warm and professional demeanour · Maintain boardroom calendar arrange meetings and coordinate refreshments · Arrange catering needs for internal and external meetings · Manage inbound and outbound office mail, including coordinating courier pick-ups and drop-offs · Assist Sales Department with data entry and other requirements, as needed · Provide general administrative support for various teams and corporate events · Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, meeting rooms, supply and copy rooms and order supplies and arrange repairs, as necessary · Provide point of contact for building maintenance requests · Type up cover-letters and prepare documents, as requested Qualifications · Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) · Previous experience in reception or office administration · Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills · Provide a positive and professional first impression for clients either visiting the office or calling in · Able to identify effective and efficient solutions to problems · Strong organizational skills, able to adapt to a variety of tasks with varying deadlines · Detail oriented, ensuring excellence in all duties performed · Ability to work independently, with little supervision · Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Why work at Canoe Financial Canoe Financial is one of Canada’s fastest-growing independent mutual fund companies, built on a culture of ownership, performance, and entrepreneurial drive.
