As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a talented and dedicated Modular Facility Carpenter to join our team. Location: Arichat, NS Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive, based on experience Start Date: Immediate Duties & Responsibilities Interpret technical drawings and specification for modular construction to determine layout, materials and dimensions of construction projects. Frame walls, windows, doors, install trusses, metal roofing and siding as per drawings and manufacturer's specifications. Preform detailed interior finishings in a timely manner. Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to spec. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Ensure quality, efficiency, and safe completion of all repairs. Conform in all respects with applicable federal, provincial, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and other orders and to all Company policies, procedures, and directives from supervisors. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements Proven experience as a carpenter in modular and/or facility construction; Journeyman is preferred. Strong knowledge of materials and general carpentry techniques, and construction best practices. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment with precision. Physical strength and stamina; ability to lift and work on ladders or in tight spaces as needed. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude. Must have own hand tools and select power tools. WHIMIS, Fall Protection and Forklift training is an asset. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
