Work Environment: This position is located in Lloydminster and requires the successful candidate to live in the area What you’ll do: Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Install, calibrate, maintain, and commission instrumentation and measurement devices to support reliable operations. Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and assist in identifying corrective actions to minimize downtime. Review and maintain instrument drawings, datasheets, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Execute and document maintenance activities through SAP work orders in accordance with Cenovus maintenance standards. Support equipment overhauls, shutdowns, turnarounds, and continuous improvement initiatives, including incident investigations and root cause analysis. Who you are: Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements: Legally authorized to work in Canada Journeyman Instrument Mechanic certification required. Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering Technology from a recognized institution is considered an asset. Minimum of 3 years of journeyman instrumentation maintenance experience in an industrial environment, preferably within the oil and gas processing industry. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational setting. Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement. As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments. For this position you will be required to maintain a Class 5 driver's license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to the appropriate Company policies and guidelines. A driver's abstract will be one of the background checks requested in the pre-employment screening for the final candidate.
