We are seeking an Artificial Intelligence Architect to serve as a strategic AI leader, supporting our clients in their digital transformation initiatives and contributing to the growth and recognition of our expertise in generative and agentic AI. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise in solution architecture with a leadership role in business development, training, and AI governance. Your future duties and responsibilities Key Responsibilities Architecture and Delivery Analyze client needs, draft requirements specifications, and design the architecture for AI solutions and proofs of concept Oversee development teams and ensure the quality of deliverables Support organizations in implementing best practices in generative and agent-based AI (prompt engineering, context engineering) Analyze the interdisciplinary consistency of deliverables produced by domain architects, business architects, IT architects, and developers Strategy and Governance Serve as the AI expert for the business unit Participate in AI governance and strategy committees Develop and present strategic AI business plans Define and promote best practices for adopting AI tools (Copilot, GitHub Copilot, etc.) Business Development Oversee the design and preparation of proposals and the analysis of request-for-proposal documents Organize executive-level meetings with clients to discuss AI-related issues Simulate pricing scenarios and strategies, plan initiatives, and identify necessary resources Participate in networking events and deliver presentations to showcase the organization’s culture of innovation Training Design and deliver training on generative AI for professionals Mentor internal teams to build their expertise Write articles and participate in podcasts on AI trends Contribute to expert communities and internal innovation initiatives Resource Management Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members Oversee the assignment and training of staff Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field 15 or more years of experience in information technology, including significant expertise in artificial intelligence Proven experience in solution architecture (requirements analysis, specifications, proofs of concept) Expertise in generative and agent-based AI, including large language models (LLMs) and tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Copilot Experience in proposal management and bid analysis Experience in training, presenting, and explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences Leadership, team management, and business development skills Bilingualism in French/English Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Strengths Knowledge of enterprise architecture modeling tools (BizzDesign, ArchiMate) Experience with microservices architecture Industry experience in insurance, financial services, or the public sector Experience in university teaching or research supervision AI certifications (e.g., Microsoft AI Agents, Copilot Studio, DataIKU) Participation in AI expert committees or strategic advisory boards Soft Skills Commitment: Strong dedication to the success of projects, the advancement of AI expertise, and the organization’s reputation Leadership and autonomy: Ability to proactively lead initiatives, make decisions, and motivate teams without constant supervision Teamwork: ability to collaborate with a diverse range of professionals (architects, developers, project managers, executives) in an interdisciplinary setting Political and interpersonal skills: ability to navigate complex organizational environments, build trusting relationships with senior leadership, and influence others without formal authority Entrepreneurial spirit: a sense of initiative, a focus on innovation, and the ability to develop new business opportunities Communication and outreach: the ability to convey complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences, including both technical and executive staff Adaptability: ability to thrive in changing environments and juggle multiple assignments simultaneously Diligence and sense of responsibility: commitment to the quality of deliverables and adherence to commitments made to clients Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
