We are seeking a Strategic Advisor with expertise in governance, data, and AI to support executive leadership, governance committees, and business stakeholders in defining visions, strategic directions, and roadmaps focused on leveraging data and artificial intelligence. This individual will serve both as a trusted advisor to senior management and as a builder of a high-value data/AI practice. Your future duties and responsibilities Key Responsibilities Vision and Practice Development Define and implement the strategic vision for the Data/AI practice, aligned with business objectives and market trends Structure service offerings in data strategy, governance, data architecture, BI, AI, and data science Mentor talent and foster a culture of innovation, rigor, and continuous learning Strategic Consulting for Clients Advise executives and senior managers on strategic decisions related to data utilization, governance, and AI Develop recommendations, roadmaps, action plans, and executive presentations to support governance committees and decision-making bodies Prepare and facilitate scoping and strategic planning workshops to prioritize high-value use cases Data Governance and Quality Evaluate processes, data quality, and reporting practices to identify opportunities for improvement Design and implement governance frameworks that ensure data integrity, reliability, and compliance Integrate best practices for data protection, ethics, and responsible data governance Advanced Analytics and AI Lead the prioritization of high-value AI and data use cases (personalization, segmentation, forecasting, monetization) Contribute to the design of predictive models, dashboards, and KPIs to support performance and decision-making Support the adoption of generative AI and prompt engineering to generate insights tailored to client needs Change Management Support the transformation of the decision-making culture within client organizations Facilitate workshops on data literacy, ideation, and the adoption of analytical tools for cross-functional teams Qualifications Required qualifications to be successful in this role University degree in business administration, statistics, computer science, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus) 15 or more years of experience in information technology, including significant expertise in data governance, analytics, and AI Proven experience in providing strategic advice to executive leadership and governance committees Experience in defining and implementing data governance frameworks Experience facilitating strategic and scoping workshops with business stakeholders Ability to produce strategic analyses, recommendations, and high-level executive presentations Bilingual in French and English Technical Skills Data strategy: governance, quality, value creation, monetization, executive reporting, and KPI management Advanced analytics and AI: segmentation, forecasting, predictive models, personalization, generative AI, and advanced prompts Architecture and operations: data pipelines, BI, dashboards, visualization, and storytelling Tools: Power BI, Tableau, Looker, SQL, R, and Python Management and Delivery: leading cross-functional teams, project management, agile methodologies. Strengths Industry experience in energy, finance, retail, or public services Experience implementing large-scale data monetization projects Certification in generative AI or project management Experience in team leadership and business development Soft skills Leadership and vision: ability to define and champion a strategic vision with senior management Analytical rigor: commitment to the quality, reliability, and relevance of the analyses produced Political acumen and interpersonal skills: ease in interacting with governance committees and complex decision-making bodies Executive communication: ability to explain complex data/AI issues in layman’s terms to high-level audiences Teamwork and mentoring: ability to mentor talent and foster a culture of continuous learning Ethics and accountability: commitment to data protection and responsible data governance Adaptability: ability to operate effectively in multisectoral and multicultural contexts Together, as owners, let’s turn meaningful insights into action.
