CHANEL Head of Retail Education – Fragrance & Beauty Location: CHANEL Toronto Office Reports to: F&B Director Contract: Full-time and Temporary Position (Contract until February 2028 for a maternity-leave replacement) Your role @Chanel: The Head of Retail Education manages the Fragrance & Beauty retail education department and is responsible for her/his team of 4, for training and coaching our staff & retail partners, including product and client development to support the achievement of company objectives. What impact you can create at Chanel: You will bring energy, expertise, and a coaching mindset to inspire and empower teams across the retail network. Your key responsibilities will include: Lead, coach, develop, and motivate a team of four Retail Education professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and engaging team culture. Design, develop, and facilitate impactful training programs across brand culture, product knowledge, selling ceremony, client development, and leadership capabilities. Partner with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to build and manage the annual education calendar in support of seasonal launches, key business priorities, and client events. Act as the key link between the field and corporate teams, ensuring communication is clear, relevant, timely, and actionable. Assess field learning and development needs on an ongoing basis; provide tailored recommendations, follow-up, and coaching to address opportunities. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing education initiatives and continuously enhance or create programs in response to business needs and field feedback. Partner with field leadership and store management to review productivity reporting, discuss key performance indicators, identify opportunities, and establish future objectives. Support the adoption of virtual and digital learning tools to deliver engaging, effective, and scalable education experiences. Champion the CHANEL Fragrance & Beauty brand culture and elevate the ultimate luxury client experience across all points of sale.
