We are now accepting applications for a School Connections Worker to work as part of a team providing service to students at St. Joseph's Collegiate located in Brooks, Alberta. This position is connected to Complexity Funding and runs concurrent with the school calendar. This is a full-time position with benefits averaging 36 hours per week for the school year 2026-2027 with a possibility of extension. The School Connections Worker will collaborate closely with school teams, parents, and community partners to support at-risk students in achieving academic and personal success. This role focuses on fostering school connectedness through proactive engagement, mentoring, skills-based group facilitation, and oversight of therapeutic in-school suspension programs. Qualifications And Requirements Diploma in the field of human services, mental health or a related discipline. Practical experience in the mental health field, including supporting students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs. Demonstrated experience in engaging and supporting youth and their families. Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. As a publicly funded Catholic School District, our schools and job locations are infused with the Catholic Faith.
