You will support our clients in finding a path forward during the current cost of living crisis, delivering essential services that achieve tangible and impactful outcomes. Citizens Advice Manchester is a charity which provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice. We have exciting opportunities for you to join our experienced team of Money Advisers and Specialist Money Advisers who provide Money Advice to clients across England and Wales. This is delivered via telephone and digital channels through our MaPS-funded National Debt Advice Hub, our Money Advice Trust Partnership, our local service Grant, and our Consumer Energy Debt Advice Service. Our services operate Monday to Friday (9am to 8pm) and Saturday (9am to 1pm), offering a full range of free support to clients struggling with debts. This role offers an excellent opportunity for Trainee Money Advisers to receive comprehensive training and develop their careers in the advice sector. Successful applicants are expected to achieve competence as a Specialist Money Adviser within 12-18 months, depending on performance, which includes a salary increase to £31,760*. We Are Looking For Candidates Who Possess At least 6 months of experience delivering excellent customer service in a regulated environment (e.g., banking, insurance, or a contact centre). The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Experience in active listening and questioning, with the capacity to manage challenging situations effectively.
