Our Recreation Department is looking for a dedicated Booking Coordinator to join the team. Position Responsibilities Reporting to the Bookings Supervisor in the Events and Programming Department, you will coordinate rentals for a variety of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities, including aquatic centres, gymnasiums, meeting rooms, sports fields, and other rentable spaces. You will balance multiple bookings, equipment requirements, and user needs to ensure accurate scheduling and an exceptional customer experience. Using recreation management software, established processes, and internal systems, you will provide responsive customer service while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Qualifications High school diploma plus up to two years of post-secondary education in office administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2–4 years of administrative experience, including advanced data entry skills. Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing Manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain accuracy while handling multiple priorities. Work well both independently and as part of a team Confident in using conflict resolution skills when dealing with customer inquiries or scheduling issues. Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. Hours The standard workweek consists of an average of 35 hours, with the specific schedule being determined by the immediate supervisor. Compensation Salary range $30.63 to $39.62 per hour as per the Out-of-Scope Agreement. Benefits Comprehensive benefits package.
