Full Time Agro Site Manager - Ebenezer

What you’ll do: Reporting to the Agro Division Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, direction and day‑to‑day execution of all Agro Centre operations. This includes staff recruitment and development, customer service excellence, inventory procurement, sales growth, budgeting, and safety compliance. Build strong relationships with staff, suppliers, partners, and customers to ensure high-quality service and operational success. * Lead daily operations in alignment with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements. * Build strong customer relationships and oversee an extensive customer contact program. * Mentor the team to grow sales, increase margins, and manage expenses. * Develop and oversee operating budgets, reporting regularly to the Division and Finance Manager. * Manage procurement of products and supplies. * Champion a culture of safety and lead by example. * Collaborate across the division to identify inventory and sales opportunities. * Provide leadership to direct reports Why it matters: Legacy Co-op provides a range of products and services to support our member-owners. Who you are: You are an experienced retail leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys mentoring teams to success. You have a passion for people, operations, and community. To be successful, you’ll bring: * Minimum 5+ years of proven experience managing a successful retail operation or supervisory/leadership experience. * Professional Agrologist or Certified Crop Advisor designation (or willing to obtain). * Proven ability to maintain, retain and grow a strong customer base. * Strong financial management, planning, and analytical skills. * Demonstrated ability to lead multiple departments or locations effectively. * Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. * Working knowledge of asset protection, OH&S regulations, and risk management. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail management systems. * Class 5 driver’s license and ability to travel between locations as required. The Site Manager is responsible for the leadership and day-to-day execution of all Agro Centre operations, including staff development and sales growth. They must build strong relationships with stakeholders while ensuring safety compliance and effective financial management.

Candidates must have at least 5 years of retail management or supervisory experience and possess or be willing to obtain a Professional Agrologist or Certified Crop Advisor designation. Proficiency in financial planning, Microsoft Office, and a valid Class 5 driver's license are also required.
