Role Description The Real Estate Assistant is an in-office role based in Steinbach, Manitoba, for 20–30 hours per week, with room to grow. This position supports our real estate group by helping keep transactions, listings, clients, and systems organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities include managing the administrative steps involved in buying and selling homes, updating and maintaining client information in our CRM, working directly with the brokerage to submit completed paperwork, providing mailing support, and managing client nurture systems. The ideal candidate is highly organized, efficient, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. They take initiative, enjoy solving problems, pay close attention to details, and genuinely enjoy administrative work. Previous experience in real estate or a service-based industry is preferred but not required. A talented self-learner with strong administrative skills and a willingness to learn is encouraged to apply. Qualifications Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with clients, colleagues, and external partners. Foundational Real Estate knowledge or experience, with an interest in learning brokerage processes, documentation, and local market practices. Administrative Assistance and Organization Skills to manage schedules, files, records, and multiple tasks with attention to detail. Customer Service skills focused on professionalism, problem-solving, and creating positive client experiences in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets) and comfort learning real estate and CRM systems. Ability to work on-site full time in Steinbach, MB, with reliability, discretion, and a high level of integrity. Previous experience in an office, sales support, or real estate setting is an asset; relevant post-secondary education or training is beneficial.
