*Apply through Indeed only, do not call or hand in resume in person.* Computation Ltd. is currently looking to hire either a computer technician for a Windows migration project in Mississauga, the project will take aproximately 3-4 months. The project will run Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. *Technology* In this role you will provide a wide variety of technical support services. Prospective applicants must be able to diagnose and identify defective hardware (hard drive, RAM, motherboards, etc...) along with having familiarity and experience with computer software and applications such as Microsoft Windows and Office, and have basic MacOS and Linux skills. Services we offer that will need to be provided include: * -laptop screen replacement * -laptop keyboard replacement * -fan replacement (laptop & desktop) * -fan/liquid cooler installation/replacements & thermal paste refresh * -ram replacement/upgrade * -drive cloning/replace/upgrade to SSD * -power jack replacement * -trackpad replacement * -PSU replacement * -motherboard replacement * -GPU replacement * -printer setup & configuration * -Data backup, recovery, and migration * -OS wipe and reinstall * -Driver installation * -Virus and malware removal and security installation * -General software maintenance & cleanup * -Email and calendar configuration (Outlook, Thunderbird, Gmail, etc...) * -remote client support * -installing and maintaining Apple MacOS systems * -customer service for retail, corporate, and small business clients * -answering client phone calls * -communicating with clients in a clear and effective manner * -diagnosing client service tickets quickly, thoroughly, and effectively *Skills* This is a junior to intermediate role and the challenges you will be presented will be commensurate with your skill level. Ongoing technical training will be provided but you will be expected to begin with a substantial background in IT hardware support (a mix of education and professional experience, experience from gaming and personal pursuits is welcome).
