Work setting Various locations Responsibilities Tasks Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Air Brakes Endorsement Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Experience and specialization Documentation knowledge Driver logbook Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) Additional information Security and safety Basic security clearance Driving record check (abstract) Personal suitability Organized Team player Hardworking

Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials as part of a team or convoy. Perform comprehensive pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate cargo and service logs.

Requires a Class 1 or A Driver's License and an Air Brakes Endorsement. Candidates must have a secondary school graduation certificate and a clean driving record.
