Pastry Chef – Luxury Hotel Location: Banff, Alberta Salary: $67,000–$70,000 CAD + Benefits Subsidized Staff Accommodation Available (Subject to Availability) Start Date: July/August 2026 | Permanent, Full-Time I’m currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Pastry Chef to join a luxury hotel operation in the heart of Banff. This is a senior pastry leadership role, overseeing the pastry kitchen and leading the production of high-quality desserts, pastries, breads, chocolates, and confections across restaurants, banquets, weddings, VIP experiences, and in-room dining. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and develop the pastry team • Create seasonal menus and innovative pastry offerings • Oversee daily production and maintain exceptional quality standards • Manage food costs, labour, inventory, and waste • Ensure strong food safety and HACCP compliance • Collaborate with the wider culinary leadership team The Ideal Candidate: • Pastry Arts Diploma or equivalent experience • Previous leadership experience in a luxury hotel or high-volume operation • Strong pastry production and operational knowledge • Creative, organized, and hands-on leadership style • Legally authorized to work in Canada Benefits Include: • Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision benefits • Employer-matched pension plan up to 5% • Global hotel travel discounts • Employee food & beverage discounts • Complimentary meal per shift • Subsidized staff accommodation, subject to availability Interested?
