Your Opportunity: This position combines CT, Interventional Radiology, and Vascular Operating Room imaging responsibilities. As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will perform CT examinations and specialty interventional procedures in the Diagnostic Imaging Department and provide imaging support for vascular procedures in the Operating Room. You will also be responsible for supporting the daily operations and workflow of a specialized imaging area while providing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. Additional responsibilities include participating in student teaching, staff in-services, and quality assurance activities, while providing care in accordance with established standards and the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values, Policies and Procedures of Covenant Health. Description: The Medical Radiation Technologist II (MRT) performs all routine radiographic/fluoroscopic, computed tomography and interventional procedures, and may work in a specialized area and/or coordinate daily work activities of the MRT team. The MRT II also produces radiographs of high diagnostic quality in an efficient and safe manner while attending to the diagnostic and care needs of patients undergoing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. The MRT II is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement. Classification: Medical Radiation Tech II Union: COV HSAA PROF TECH Unit and Program: Diagnostic Imaging Primary Location: Grey Nuns Community Hospital Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 1.00 Posting End Date: 26-AUG-2026 Employee Class: Regular Full Time Date Available: 07-SEP-2026 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 6 Shifts per cycle: 30 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, On Call Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $41.95 Maximum Salary: $53.91 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technologist program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required. Additional Required Qualifications: Must have current registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologist and be legally able to work in Canada. Two (2) years' experience as a Radiological Technologist I preferred in a medium-to-large hospital (200-500 beds). Proven team player with an ongoing record of excellent interpersonal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively and openly with staff and management. Previous vascular and/or computed tomography experience required. Self-motivated with strong organizational skills. Must possess a high degree of confidentiality. High level of flexibility, adaptability and interpersonal skills, whilst exhibiting the highest level of professionalism. Proven ability to work under pressure within a team in emergency situations. Able to assess patient capabilities and limitations and adjust as necessary. Must be able to be involved in x-ray emitting procedures requiring the donning of leaded apparel weighing up to 9.5kg for up to 7.75 hours while assisting within the perimeter of a radiation field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Siemens Scanner. Experience with PEI.

Exigences
Candidates must be graduates of a recognized Medical Radiation Technologist program and hold active registration with the ACMDTT. Two years of experience as a Radiological Technologist I and previous vascular or CT experience are required.
