The Director of Legal Affairs acts as a legal advisor to the organization, overseeing commercial and corporate legal matters, compliance, and risk management. They are responsible for contract management, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and eventually serving as the corporate secretary. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Laws and be a member in good standing of the Barreau du Québec. A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate and commercial law is required, with proficiency in both French and English.
