The Auxiliary Nurse is responsible for collecting blood and other biological specimens, performing ECGs, and conducting drug screening tests. They also manage patient flow, handle reception duties, and ensure accurate documentation and sample preparation for laboratory transport. Candidates must be members of the OIIAQ or equivalent and possess authorization to perform blood draws. A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of customer service experience is required, with phlebotomy experience considered an asset.
