L’École Vanguard est une institution scolaire spécialisée privée d’intérêt public desservant environ 1100 élèves. La mission première de Vanguard est d’offrir des services éducatifs adaptés à des élèves présentant des difficultés graves d’apprentissage de niveaux primaire ou secondaire, aux secteurs francophone ou anglophone. Notre équipe est composée d’enseignantes et d’enseignants en adaptation scolaire, d’orthopédagogues, d’orthophonistes, de psychologues et de techniciennes et techniciens en éducation spécialisée qui travaillent quotidiennement auprès des élèves. Vanguard's primary mission is to provide educational services to students with severe learning disabilities at the elementary or secondary level in the French or English sectors. Our team is made up of special education teachers, remedial specialists, speech and language therapists, psychologists and special care counsellors who work daily with students. Our professionals work to provide a stimulating, specialized and personalized environment allowing our students to succeed in the regular academic programs of the Ministry of Education.

Responsible for the pedagogical, educational, and administrative management of the first cycle of French secondary education. Key duties include coordinating the transition from primary to secondary school and overseeing psychosocial support and intervention plans.

Orthophoniste (1 jour / semaine)

The speech-language pathologist will screen students for communication difficulties and develop individualized intervention plans within a multidisciplinary team. They will provide direct support to students and advise teachers on adapting educational materials to meet student needs.
