Eduardo Nicacio

I'm a software and AI engineering leader with over two decades of experience designing, building, and delivering enterprise-grade applications - currently serving as Engineering Lead at a major financial institution in North America through Accenture. My career has taken me across three countries and through some of the most demanding technical environments in telecom, automotive, insurance, and logistics. Along the way, I've built production systems for clients including Telefónica/Vivo, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Yamaha, and AXA - organizations where availability, scalability, and performance aren't aspirational goals; they're table stakes. My foundation is full-stack engineering, with deep experience across the .NET and Java ecosystems, modern frontend technologies including Angular and TypeScript, relational databases, enterprise infrastructure, and cloud technologies. Over the past few years, I've expanded that foundation into AI engineering - building LLM-powered workflows, designing agentic systems, and applying prompt engineering and AI orchestration within enterprise contexts. I hold the Anthropic Claude Certified Architect - Foundations certification and Accenture's Full-Stack FDE credential. What I bring beyond the technical is the perspective that comes from a career in consulting: I know how to operate inside complex organizations, navigate stakeholder environments, lead technical initiatives, and translate engineering decisions into measurable business outcomes. Implemented SignalR for real-time collaboration, migrated 100+ tables and 350+ stored procedures, and used Azure Storage as a document repository.
