As a Dishwasher at our “1” Michelin Key hotel, awarded two years in a row, you’ll keep the kitchen running smoothly in a hot, busy setting. Starting Rate: $20.00 per hour We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.50. Please note: This position begins in August/September. Job Duties Include Operate industrial dishwashers safely, wash items by hand when needed, and clean all cookware to a high standard. Maintain cleanliness by sanitizing surfaces, keeping floors dry and hazard-free, and storing all cleaned items properly. Manage recycling and trash removal from all designated areas. Follow all standard operating procedures and Fairmont standards, reporting any safety concerns or equipment issues. Demonstrate flexibility by training and working in any required area and performing other assigned duties. Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Constant standing and walking throughout an 8-hour shift Physically fit and able to work well under pressure Able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50+ lbs Able to bend, twist, climb, and kneel comfortably Reaching above and below shoulder level Working in loud environments, with exposure to hot, humid, and cold conditions, as well as dust, chemicals, fumes, and constant contact of water.
