Job Description Fairmont Gold Captain At Fairmont Chateau Whistler, unparalleled service and luxury await guests of Fairmont Gold, our exclusive “hotel within a hotel” experience. As Fairmont Gold Captain you will bring our exceptional Fairmont Gold standards to life. This is a full-time, permanent position STARTING IN SEPTEMBER 2026. Starting rate of pay: $26.25 per hour We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $31.25. Job Duties Include Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Lead service in the Fairmont Gold Lounge and ensure menu and food presentation is in keeping with Fairmont Gold standards Develop and maintain strong guest relationships to ensure Fairmont Gold loyalty Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way Provide exceptional information to our Guests about local and area attractions Qualifications Previous customer related supervisory experience preferred Food Safe Certification is required Serving It Right Qualification Required Job Perks & Benefits Subsidized staff accommodation provided Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria per shift Access to our Employee Travel Program, with discounts on room rates and food & beverage at Fairmont & Accor properties worldwide Hotel leisure benefits including Golf/Ski passes Additional Information Visa Requirements: To progress with your application, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
