What Is In It For You Wonderful company culture - our colleagues are at the heart of all that we do Food & Beverage discount of 50% in our restaurants Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwide for you and your family Learning programs through our academies designed to sharpen your skills Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activities, like Planet 21 Full rate of pay of $18.80/hour Job Description Reporting to the Outlets Leadership Team, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way Have full knowledge of all beverage lists Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner Pick up orders efficiently from the kitchen Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in the culinary field required Previous Food & Beverage service experience required Previous Point of Sale System experience preferred Excellent communication skills in both official languages Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities Highly responsible & reliable Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Ability to work cohesively as part of a team Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times Smart Serve Certification Additional Information Physical Aspects Of Position (included But Not Limited To) Constant standing and walking throughout shift Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling Fairmont Château Laurier is proud to provide employment accommodation during the recruitment process.
