Job Description Join us as a Summer seasonal Server with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and cuisine that are hallmarks of our dining experience. Start Date: August 2026 Pay Rate: $17.22hour Job Type: Seasonal Job Duties Include Anticipate guests' needs while providing information on food and beverage selections Take orders and deliver food and beverage items in a prompt and professional manner Maintain knowledge of all food and beverage items in order to assist guests with menu selections Enhance revenue flow through suggestive selling techniques Maintain accurate guest checks, handle cash, make accurate deposits, and balance credit and cash sales at the end of every shift Qualifications A minimum of 2 years’ experience serving in a restaurant Alberta ProServe certification Proficient in using POS platforms including Silverware and OpenTable Passion for food and wine with a knowledge of wine service You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. The server acts as an ambassador for the dining experience by anticipating guest needs and providing professional food and beverage service. Responsibilities include taking orders, suggestive selling to enhance revenue, and managing accurate guest checks and payments.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of restaurant serving experience and a valid Alberta ProServe certification. Proficiency in POS systems like Silverware and OpenTable, along with a passion for wine service, is required.
