Collaborate with classroom teams for planning and implementation of weekly lesson plans. Plan open-ended activities with an emphasis on process orientation and a developmentally appropriate curriculum with age-appropriate and individualized activities. Be responsible for reporting challenges, successes, and competencies of each student to the Director or to parents on a regular basis. Supervise the classroom, helping the children to think creatively, to solve problems independently, and respect themselves and others. Be responsible for ensuring an educational, caring, and safe environment for the children. Assist children with self-care (i.e. dressing, diapering, feeding). Other duties as assigned by Lead Teachers and Program Supervisors. What You Bring (preferred Skills And Qualifications): Minimum one year of experience working with children Early Childhood Certification - ECE Level 1/2 Reggio-inspired or Montessori experience is an asset. Exigences
Candidates should have at least one year of experience working with children and hold an ECE Level 1/2 certification. A current First Aid certificate and a Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check are also required.
