Ramp Handler

This is an interview position. General Summary To load and unload FedEx aircrafts and vehicles; to scan and transport freight to and from ramp and within a facility. Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities High school diploma/educational equivalent. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record Ability to successfully complete all ramp training and certification, such as GSE, tug, belt loader, t-stacking and DG. Must maintain accreditation through yearly recurrency training prior to expiration. Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations an asset. Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment Good time management and organizational skills Able to lift 70lbs and to maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment. Les candidats seront également évalués selon : 1) leur relevé annuel de conduite ; 2) leur performance en entrevue ; et 3) leurs résultats aux évaluations de conduite administrées. Load and unload FedEx aircraft and vehicles while scanning and transporting freight within the facility. Ensure the safe movement of packages between the ramp and the facility.

Requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and the ability to lift up to 70lbs. Candidates must be able to complete ramp certifications and, for Quebec locations, be bilingual in French and English.
