Flexential is seeking a strategic, highly collaborative Senior Manager, Communications & Public Relations to elevate our voice, visibility, and market influence in the rapidly evolving digital infrastructure industry, encompassing colocation, interconnection, cloud, and data protection services that power today's enterprise and AI-driven workloads. Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Marketing, this role is responsible for executing integrated communications strategies that strengthen brand reputation, drive awareness, support revenue growth, and elevate executive influence. You will work closely with leaders across the company to ensure a consistent, compelling voice that aligns business priorities with market perception. Success in this role requires a strong storyteller who can identify opportunities across the organization and translate them into compelling communications that connect with customers, media, employees, partners, and industry influencers. Communications is not a standalone function at Flexential. It is a strategic driver that connects and amplifies everything we do across the organization, from corporate announcements and thought leadership to product launches, customer stories, executive visibility, social media, events, employee communications, and market education. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, storyteller, relationship builder, and operator. Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions Corporate Communications & Storytelling Execute communications programs that support Flexential's corporate, brand, product, customer, and growth initiatives. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify, develop, and amplify compelling stories. Ensure messaging consistency across external communications channels. Develop communications plans that align with broader marketing and business priorities. Translate complex technology and infrastructure topics into clear, engaging content for a variety of audiences. Public Relations & Media Relations Manage day-to-day public relations activities in partnership with Flexential's PR agency. Develop press materials including press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, messaging, and talking points. Build and maintain relationships with key technology, business, and trade media. Support media interviews, award submissions, and speaking opportunities. Track industry trends and identify opportunities to proactively contribute to market conversations. Executive Communications & Social Media Support executive thought leadership initiatives that increase visibility and strengthen industry credibility. Manage executive social media programs, including content development, publishing coordination, and performance reporting. Develop and execute Flexential's corporate social media strategy in alignment with marketing campaigns, corporate initiatives, and communications priorities. Amplify media coverage, customer stories, executive perspectives, events, and company milestones through social channels. Cross-Functional Communications Support Partner with teams across Marketing, Product Marketing, Sales, Operations, Customer Success, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership to support strategic initiatives. Serve as a communications resource for major announcements, company milestones, events, research initiatives, and customer-facing programs. Help ensure communications opportunities are integrated into broader organizational planning and execution. Measurement & Reporting Monitor and report on media coverage, share of voice, social media performance, executive engagement, and other communications metrics. Evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements based on performance data. Maintain communications calendars, reporting dashboards, and agency coordination activities. Required Qualifications Experience 7+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, executive communications, or related fields, with a proven track record of running communication programs at scale within B2B technology organizations. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly. Experience managing media relations programs and external agency relationships. Experience developing content for executive and corporate social media channels. Strong project management and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Communications experience operating in scaled B2B IT infrastructure (data center, cloud) or adjacent B2B SaaS businesses, with exposure to enterprise-grade offerings Compensation Base Pay Range: Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $140,000 - $155,000. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications. Variable Pay: Discretionary annual bonus, based on personal and company performance.
