Day In the Life: Review payroll system to ensure union rate compliance Assist with system setup requirements, including Jira Ticket creation, review and validation Ensure compliance with Federal & Provincial payroll legislation and company policy Process CRA Remittances Process Garnishment’s Process EHT Remittances Process Union Payments Respond to union inquiries Liaison with branches on payroll related items Maintain employee records as per government regulations Assist with other duties as assigned What You Bring: Minimum 2 years of experience in a payroll processing role and/or a strong understanding of fundamental payroll procedures. Experience with analyzing deductions, remittances, taxes, CPP, EI is required Experience with salaried, hourly union and non-union payroll is required Knowledge of relevant government regulations across Canada PCP or CPM designation preferred - or relevant work experience Experience with SAP Success Factors preferred Must have strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office, especially excel skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Accuracy and detail orientated Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills Flynn’s strong culture focuses the energies of employees on doing the right thing, for the benefit of the company, its customers, and themselves. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required, while a PCP or CPM designation and SAP Success Factors experience are preferred.
