Job Summary Perform a variety of technical trade tasks to support installation, maintenance and repair projects on construction sites. Work collaboratively with skilled tradespeople to meet project schedules while following safety and quality standards. Number of Positions 2 Main Duties Assist with installation, assembly, repair and maintenance of building components, systems and equipment. Interpret and follow technical drawings, schematics and written work instructions to complete assigned tasks. Operate and maintain hand and power tools, measuring instruments and portable equipment safely. Inspect work, troubleshoot issues and report defects or required repairs to supervisors. Prepare materials, load and unload supplies, and maintain organized work areas and basic inventory records. Follow site safety procedures, participate in safety meetings and use appropriate personal protective equipment. Requirements Secondary school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in a technical trade is an asset. Minimum of 1 year of related experience in technical trades, construction, or maintenance environments. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and written work instructions. Competence using hand and power tools, measuring devices and basic diagnostic equipment. Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including lifting, standing and working at heights or in confined spaces as required. Strong communication skills, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
