Position Overview Under the direction of the Front Office Manager and/or Front Office Supervisor, the Front Desk Agent is to provide efficient and courteous service to each guest and operate according to the policies, procedures, quality standards and services established by the management team for the satisfaction of all internal and external guests. Must be willing to work shifts and weekends if required and be able to work rapidly during busy periods while remaining calm and professional. Education And Experience Must have minimum 2 years-experience in full-service hotel. Must have minimum 2 years of computer knowledge and working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Explorer. Experience with Micros OPERA PMS system is an asses. Must be fluent in English. Fluency in multiple languages is considered an asses Work within a 24/7 operation with ability to work flexible hours when required (days, evening, nights, weekends and holidays). Must be 19 years of age or older. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Greeting and thanking guests in a sincere and professional manner Ensure effective check-in and check-out procedures Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner Addressing telephone and personal inquiries Inform and follow up with any necessary departments to ensure that all requests for cots, cribs, packages, etc. are delivered to the guest rooms and deliver items to guests at their request Meet and exceed customer expectations by providing superior service and teamwork and effectively communicate any information or requests to co-workers and other internal departments to ensure teamwork results in exceptional customer service We thank all applicants, however, only those considered for an interview will be contacted.No phone calls please.
