JOB STATEMENT: GCA has an immediate need for a Portfolio Administration Analyst. As part of the private wealth management administration team, the main responsibilities are to support the existing analysts in servicing the onshore and offshore clients of Guardian Capital Advisors. This role is suitable for someone in a similar role who has industry knowledge and experience, advanced Excel skills (can build macros, functions, pivot tables), Jira and Power Platform experience with the related systems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Administration/Support Assist with the preparation and maintenance of reporting for high-profile and sensitive clients; Help lead and perform daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reconciliation of client accounts. Update and help solve recon issues and problems with the accounting system (Eagle) with daily, weekly, monthly interest in cash transactions and holdings from the custodian; Assist front office staff with any queries regarding the function and issues of accounts and clients in Salesforce, Eagle, Charles Rivers, and Salesforce. Assist with the documentation and tracking of all trade errors and failed trades; Assist in the setting up and classification of securities on GCA’s portfolio accounting and trade management systems; Perform back-up duties for the Settlements Administrator. Assist with the onboarding and offboarding of clients and accounts, Assist in the weekly quality control process across systems and applications. You may be assigned Operation tasks and or be a part of projects that are not listed above QUALIFICATIONS: University degree in business, economics, or computer science, Successful completion of the CSC course At least two to five years of experience in the securities industry Strong knowledge of Eagle, Charles River and Salesforce Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills Ability to meet deadlines and multitask Advanced abilities in Microsoft products including Power Platform applications. COMPENSATION: The base salary range is expected to be between $60,000 - $70,000, with eligibility for a discretionary bonus.
