Position Overview: The Administrative Assistant – Float will provide comprehensive administrative support to our healthcare professionals in a team setting. Duties and Responsibilities: Booking patient appointments, greeting patients, and answering the HFHT phone line Liaising with patients and families in a professional and compassionate manner while maintaining privacy and confidentiality Maintaining patient records by obtaining, recording, and updating personal information Scanning and faxing of patient information and consultation reports Liaising with practice–based primary care teams Overseeing and monitoring room bookings and scheduling ***The above responsibilities are not to be considered all-inclusive. Requirements: BA or diploma in Medical Office Administration or equivalent Exceptional customer service, communication and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal skills, with proven ability to work well in a team environment Demonstrated problem solving skills and initiative Proficient with Microsoft Office Must be able to multi-task and prioritize while working within a busy environment Experience with EMR (Practice Solutions Suite) an asset Previous experience in a clinical setting an asset Excellent attendance Reliable transportation (vehicle and G license) Why join the HFHT? Exigences
