ROBINSON Lighting & Bath encourages growth and learning throughout the organization, providing employees with the product knowledge and expertise to help customers bring their projects to life. https://www.robinsonco.ca/ THE OPPORTUNITY Reporting to the Vice President, Showroom Group, the Showroom Manager will lead the Calgary ROBINSON Lighting & Bath Showroom. This position is accountable for the overall performance of the showroom, including sales growth, profitability, customer experience, team leadership, operations, and customer and vendor relationships. Our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on leader with a proven ability to grow sales, develop teams, and build lasting customer relationships. The successful candidate will balance sales performance with an outstanding customer experience while leading a team that serves homeowners, designers, builders, and contractors. This role is well-suited to a leader who enjoys developing people, building relationships, and driving business growth. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Accountable for the overall performance and profitability of the showroom. Lead, coach, and develop the showroom team through performance management, development planning, and regular sales meetings. Foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture aligned with ROBINSON's values. Build strong relationships with retail and trade customers, as well as vendors. Partner with Marketing to support events and initiatives that enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Stay current on industry trends, products, and design influences, and share that knowledge across the team. Collaborate with wholesale branches, support office teams, and eCommerce to deliver a seamless customer experience. Partner with HR on recruitment, team development, performance management, and employee relations. Oversee inventory management, including vendor returns and product write-downs. Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient showroom operations. SELECTION CRITERIA Minimum 5 years of leadership experience with responsibility for team performance, operations, and P&L results. Strong sales track record, including success growing revenue, customer base, and market presence. Experience in a showroom, luxury retail, lighting, plumbing, or a related industry is preferred. Proven ability to build customer relationships, establish trust, and drive consultative sales. Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing teams. Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into results. Proven ability to build long-term relationships with customers and vendors. Strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Influential leadership style with the ability to inspire others and align teams. Highly organized, with the ability to manage competing demands and deliver results. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office applications.
