The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may be entitled to other elements of total compensation, which may include group benefits, employer RRSP contributions, and discretionary bonus or incentive programs, where applicable to the role. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Financial Analysts, we’d ask you to do the following for us: * Clearly communicate financial results to the management team on a regular basis * Monitor forecast accuracy and identify risks and opportunities impacting financial performance * Work with operational leaders to understand business drivers, validate assumptions, and incorporate insights into forecasts/budgets * Provide financial analysis to ensure accurate financial statements and maximize profit potential * Coordinate the collection and compilation of weekly forecasting and analysis to ensure accuracy * Oversee the completion of required departmental reports and the compilation of month end reports * Initiate and maintain the annual budget process and forecasts * Lead the financial modelling for rebids or price negotiations * Answer queries and support Operations Management and Senior leadership * Complete all projects on schedule and in a professional manner Think you have what it takes to be our Financial Analyst? Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role: * 2 to 5 years of financial analysis experience in food service or retail industry (multi-site) preferred * Accounting designation (i.e. CPA) or working towards one is preferred, ideally in a complex fast paced multi-site environment and similar industry/background * Must be able to work standard Pacific Time business hours * Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Experience partnering with non-financial stakeholders is preferred * High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy * Good command of Microsoft Office Suite * Self-motivated with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset
