Role Overview This is a rare opportunity for an experienced helicopter pilot who wants the best of both worlds: meaningful, high-standard flying and true lifestyle balance. As a Bell 429 Captain based in Halifax (YHZ), you’ll operate a modern aircraft in a premium, client-focused environment where your judgment, professionalism, and leadership are genuinely valued. What You’ll Do Operate as Pilot-in-Command on a Bell 429, based out of Halifax (YHZ), ensuring all flights are conducted with the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and operational excellence. Deliver a premium client experience, acting as the face of the company and building strong, trusted relationships with high-value clientele. Collaborate closely with the Flight Coordination Centre and Sales teams to ensure seamless execution of all mission requirements and service expectations. Support operational readiness on reserve days, contributing to a reliable and responsive flight operation. Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the operation. What You Bring: Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License – Helicopter or Commercial Pilot License (CPL). Group 4 Instrument Rating. Valid Transport Canada Medical Category 1. Canadian Radio Telephone License. Minimum of 2500 hours total flight time. Minimum 1000 multi-engine PIC hours, turbine time is preferred. Ability to lift up to 60Ibs. Hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits. Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning and weight and balance. Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices. Strong client service mindset with the ability to build effective relationships. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, adaptable, and able to perform in a fast-paced, flexible scheduling environment Why Chartright?
