HR Manager Our client, a well-respected not-for-profit organization, is seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to support its HR team during an interim assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded HR professional who enjoys working across the full employee lifecycle and can quickly build relationships, provide practical advice, and support day-to-day HR operations in a unionized environment. Key Responsibilities Provide advice and guidance on employee and labour relations matters, including performance management, attendance, accommodation, investigations, and progressive discipline. Support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development initiatives. Interpret and apply collective agreements, employment legislation, and organizational policies. Coordinate HR programs, policies, and workplace committee activities. Support compensation, benefits, HRIS, job evaluation, and employee records management. Partner with leaders to provide practical HR advice and improve HR processes and programs. Qualifications Progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist, business partner or HR management role. Strong HR generalist background with expertise in talent management, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management Experience working in a unionized environment. Experience supporting managers and senior leaders on a broad range of HR matters CHRP, CHRL, CHRE, CPHR, or equivalent designation is considered an asset Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills Ability to quickly adapt and work effectively in a changing environment Value of Interim Opportunities Opportunity to make an immediate impact within a respected organization.
