Humani HR is a fast-growing, modern thinking team of HR professionals that are passionate about helping small and mid-sized businesses with their People and Culture. We take the stress out of HR by providing fractional HR support and consulting services that scale with our clients’ changing needs. We do the work, so our clients can focus on building their business. Humani HR is a primarily remote-first organization; however, HR Business Partners and Generalists are expected to attend client visits periodically (typically up to 15% of the time, but could be more frequent), as well as company events. We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong business acumen and executive presence, who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing consulting environment. You’ll partner with a portfolio of clients to provide strategic guidance and hands-on HR support across employee relations, compliance, compensation, HR programs, and more. What you’ll do: Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, including C-Suite executives with confidence and executive presence Lead HR initiatives from strategy through execution, addressing a wide range of HR and organizational needs, including policy development, organizational compliance, compensation analysis, HRIS implementation, audits, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, benefit administration & payroll processing and oversight Manage multiple client accounts with tailored, high-impact solutions Build strong, lasting client relationships that drive Humani’s continued success What you bring: 7+ years of progressive, client-facing HR experience (a degree in HR and/or professional HR designation is highly desired) Excellent knowledge of Canadian employment law across multiple provinces Strong experience in managing and overseeing payroll operations/and or Union experience is strongly preferred Robust business acumen with proven ability to translate business needs into actionable HR objectives Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving and needs analysis skills Ability to thrive in fast-changing, ambiguous environments Why Humani: $80K–$100K base + performance bonus (10–25%+) 4 weeks' vacation + wellness days Benefits + retirement match Meaningful growth, impact, and learning opportunities If you’re a strategic, hands-on HR professional who loves solving complex people challenges—we’d love to meet you. Exigences

Requires over 7 years of progressive, client-facing HR experience with a strong knowledge of Canadian employment law. A degree in HR or a professional designation is highly desired, along with experience in payroll operations or union environments.
