What You’ll Do: We are currently looking to add a Claims Analyst position within our Executive Risk Solutions practice group. Primary responsibilities will include the following: * Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values * Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion among all IMA associates * Attends carrier functions to represent IMA and further cultivate carrier underwriter and management relationships * Assist with ERS claim in-take, submission/notice, and document management * Prepare and coordinate communications between clients, insurers and placement team * Manage claim tracking process and calendar reminders for follow-up as necessary * Establish insurer relationships and contacts to assist in time-sensitive matters Required Experience & Skills We're seeking a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Qualifications include: * Bachelor's degree required * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Commitment to excellence and client service * Ability to remain calm, adaptable, and resourceful in a fast-paced environment * Strong work ethic with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business applications * Willingness to learn, take initiative, and assume additional responsibilities as opportunities arise Preferred Experience * Prior insurance claims handling experience * Knowledge of claims submission processes and policy requirements * Ability to review and interpret insurance claims correspondence * Experience supporting claims advocacy efforts on behalf of policyholders * Understanding of insurance coverage analysis and policy interpretation * Exposure to negotiations with insurance carriers regarding defense arrangements and staffing * * * Salary Range $45,000—$60,000 USD Compensation & Benefits Being a part of IMA has its benefits.
