Your role involves personalized treatment assessments, serving as the primary drug information resource, and offering expert advice to healthcare professionals. You'll meticulously monitor drug prescribing, distribution, and therapy to ensure their safe, effective, and economical use. Embracing a patient-centered approach, you'll oversee ongoing drug therapy, assessing factors like effectiveness, compliance, adverse reactions, and interactions. Your responsibilities include maintaining accurate workload records, communicating vital findings and recommendations to the healthcare team, and ensuring meticulous documentation in patient health records or computerized systems. Additionally, you'll interpret medication orders, input them into the database, and dispense prescriptions in strict adherence to legal, professional, and departmental standards. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
