Résumé du poste
Company Description ISNA Schools is a leading educational organization that provides a strong academic program within an Islamic environment, helping students achieve success and prepare for post-secondary education. The organization oversees ISNA Elementary School, the first full-time Islamic school in North America, and ISNA High School, one of the premier Islamic secondary schools in Ontario. Serving approximately 600 students, both schools consistently rank among the top schools in Ontario according to the Fraser Institute. ISNA Schools is known for its highly qualified staff, state-of-the-art facilities, and commitment to Islamic schooling in a modern context, offering the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum alongside Islamic Studies and Arabic. Governed by the ISNA School Board, a registered non-profit and charitable organization in Canada, ISNA Schools supports graduates who excel in their careers, Islamic practice, and community engagement. Role Description The Systems and Operations Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON, responsible for supporting the smooth daily operation of ISNA Schools. This role coordinates administrative and operational processes, including student information systems, scheduling, and record-keeping, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements. The coordinator works closely with school leadership, educators, and support staff to streamline workflows, maintain operational documentation, and assist with reporting and communications. Typical responsibilities include monitoring and updating systems, responding to operational inquiries, supporting facility and resource management, and helping implement process improvements across both the elementary and high school campuses. The role also involves providing timely support during peak periods such as enrollment, examinations, and events, contributing to an efficient and well-organized school environment. Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a school operations environment. Proficiency with information systems and office software (e.g., student information systems, databases, MS Office or Google Workspace) and comfort with learning new digital tools. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working collaboratively with administrators, educators, students, families, and external partners. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, reporting, and compliance-related processes. Problem-solving skills and a process-oriented mindset to identify operational issues and recommend practical improvements. Experience in educational administration, operations coordination, or a related field is an asset; familiarity with Ontario school systems or Islamic schooling is beneficial. Post-secondary education in administration, business, education, or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of training and experience. Commitment to the mission and values of ISNA Schools and to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
