Job Overview As a Class 3 Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks, flatbeds, and other equipment to transport materials, tools, and debris to and from job sites. You may also assist with light site work and vehicle maintenance as needed. Responsibilities * Operate Class 3 vehicles in a safe and professional manner * Load, transport, and unload materials such as soil, gravel, mulch, and equipment * Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections * Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks * Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies * Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding job status * Assist crew on site when not driving (as needed) *Certificates, license's, memberships, and courses* * Air Brakes Endorsement * Class 1/1F/A License (semi trailer trucks) * Class 3/3F/DF License (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles) * Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred * Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks * Knowledge of local traffic routes and construction safety practices * Strong communication and teamwork skills _*Experience and specialization:*_ *Type of trucking and equipment* * Dump truck * Tractor-trailer *Transportation/travel experience* * Local * Drive manual transmission vehicle * Valid driver's license _*Work conditions and physical capabilities*_ * Handling heavy loads _*Own tools/equipment*_ * Steel-toed safety boots _*Personal suitability*_ * Flexibility * Reliability * Team player Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Life insurance * Vision care Work Location: In person
