Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Tasks: Advise press crew on product specifications or material requirements . Fill ink fountains and control colour and viscosity. Set up press and operate at slow speed to check samples. Monitor regular press run for quality using computer control console. Remove and clean plates and cylinders at end of press run. Set up and adjust in-line binding and finishing equipment. Direct press crew to set up, operate and shut down press. Type of press: Offset press. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Manual dexterity. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Fast-paced environment. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent written communication. Organized. Reliability. Team player.
