This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Manager - Program Management based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This is a customer-facing role supporting major energy programs across Western Canada. You will coordinate commercial, contractual, and operational activities throughout complex project lifecycles. Working across customers, project teams, legal, commercial functions, and multiple business units, you will help turn customer requirements into successful execution. The role combines strategic relationship management with hands-on coordination, issue resolution, and risk mitigation. You will contribute to contract negotiations, governance, delivery alignment, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will directly support reliable power infrastructure and the advancement of energy technologies. Accountabilities Build and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted partner and advisor on customer programs, commercial matters, and contractual topics. Coordinate customer requirements and business priorities across multiple Business Units, project teams, and internal functions. Support contract negotiations and agreement closure by working closely with customers, legal counsel, contract managers, and commercial stakeholders. Coordinate pre-order and post-order activities to support successful execution, delivery commitments, and customer satisfaction. Manage customer expectations and facilitate the resolution of complex commercial, operational, schedule, performance, and contractual issues. Identify risks, support mitigation plans, and help align commercial interests to facilitate sustainable customer and business agreements. Escalate critical commercial, contractual, performance, or schedule issues to senior leadership when appropriate. Support governance and process improvement initiatives designed to strengthen customer experience and operational execution across the order lifecycle. Ensure customer and program activities comply with applicable internal policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines. Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to maintain alignment, improve communication, and support the successful delivery of large-scale energy programs. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in electrical engineering or a related technical discipline. 10+ years of total professional experience, including at least 5 years in customer-facing roles involving the sale or management of large project solutions. Proven experience managing strategic customer relationships, complex programs, commercial activities, contract negotiations, and terms and conditions. Strong understanding of customer engagement, stakeholder management, risk assessment, mitigation, and cross-functional coordination. Experience working across multiple business units and coordinating diverse internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of the energy market and competitive landscape is strongly preferred. Experience working with Developers, EPCs, Data Centers, Oil & Gas, or Renewable Energy organizations is an advantage. Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance customer expectations and business priorities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage customers, project teams, legal teams, and senior executives. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across complex, long-term programs. Ability to identify issues proactively, develop practical solutions, and escalate critical matters effectively. Existing authorization to work in Canada is required.
