What you will do Reporting to the Transportation Maintenance Superintendent (Bridges & Buildings), the successful candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities: * providing leadership, guidance, and support to employees, while ensuring effective teamwork and performance; * direction and supervision of employees and personnel engaged in the maintenance and repairs of bridges, culverts and buildings as well as participation in these tasks; * inspections for the purpose of preventative maintenance to departmental standards; * adhere to budget guidelines and environmental safety regulations; * maintain daily records and reports and perform other work as required. Work environment: * Office location: Fredericton. * Work holidays, weekends, and/or variable hours. * May work in adverse weather conditions and must be able to work at heights. * We promote a scent-reduced environment. Who you are Key behavioural competencies: * Analytical Thinking/Jugement * Developing Others * Effective Interactive Communication * Organizational Commitment * Results Orientation * Team Leadership Essential qualifications: * Graduation from high school or GED with A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the maintenance of bridges, including a minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. * Experience with Microsoft Office Suite. * Valid Class 5 driver’s license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick. Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability. Ce que vous ferez

The Bridge Supervisor provides leadership and direction to personnel engaged in the maintenance and repair of bridges, culverts, and buildings. They are also responsible for conducting preventative maintenance inspections and ensuring adherence to budget and safety regulations.

Exigences

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, along with at least three years of experience in bridge maintenance, including one year in a supervisory role. A valid Class 5 driver's license and proficiency in English are also required.
