Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst (AI Training) About The Role We're looking for experienced GRC professionals to help train and validate cutting-edge AI systems. At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs — and we need practitioners who understand how security policies, compliance programs, audits, and risk management actually work inside real organizations. Your real-world expertise will directly shape how AI reasons about compliance, risk, and security — making a meaningful impact on the future of enterprise AI. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week What You'll Do Review and analyze security policies, controls, and procedures for quality and accuracy Classify and evaluate compliance scenarios across frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST Assess risk statements and control mappings for correctness and completeness Generate and validate training and evaluation data used to improve AI reasoning in security and risk domains Apply your practitioner knowledge to identify gaps, ambiguities, or errors in AI-generated GRC content Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management Familiar with one or more major frameworks — SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, or similar Comfortable reading and interpreting policy documents, audit reports, and control documentation Detail-oriented with strong written reasoning and communication skills Self-motivated and able to work independently in an asynchronous environment Nice to Have Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows Background in information security, internal audit, or enterprise risk Familiarity with GRC platforms or tools (e.g., ServiceNow GRC, Archer, Vanta) Why Join Us Work directly on frontier AI systems alongside top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Contribute to meaningful work that shapes how AI understands enterprise security and risk Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
