Establish the Construction Health & Safety Management Plan and related documents in relation to the Project Management Team. Ensure that the Construction Health & Safety Management Plan is established and kept updated as the project progresses and contains specific measures concerning particularly hazardous work. Manage the Health & Safety Coordinators and ensure daily coordination (Onshore, Marine and Tunnel). Plan and organize the necessary trainings and workshops so that the Construction Health & Safety Management Plan is understood and cascaded down in the construction methods, preliminary work plans and work plans established by the Methods and Construction Teams. Support the project teams for all matters related to Health and Safety Management. Plan and organize, with the support of the Health & Safety Coordinator, the General and Specific orientations, trainings and awareness sessions to ensure that all project personnel, service providers and third parties understand Health & Safety policies, systems and procedures. Develop the Behavior Based Safety program at all levels of the organization to raise the Health & Safety culture of the Project. Actively participate to Safety in Design workshops and the development of the Methods and the Work Plans. Actively participate to the kick-off meetings with project teams as well as subcontractor representatives Actively participate to Pretask meetings Plan and carry out regular site inspections together with the Project Management Team, Construction team and QHSE team to ensure that all measures are implemented as expected and identify potential improvement actions. Plan and lead monthly review of LTI and HiPo with the Project Director, Project Manager(s), Construction Director, Construction Managers, Plant Manager. Organize, in coordination with the Human Resources Manager, the health checks of personnel when needed / required (e.g. nightshift workers & offshore works). Accompany project teams in defining corrective actions when appropriate and participate to their communication by establishing Safety Alerts and Health & Safety good practices that are spread through the organization. Actively participate in preparing CODIR presentation on environment Participate in the weekly internal QHSE-Permits meeting and other meetings as necessary (e.g. : Project HSE committees and Project reference group forums chaired by OPG). Minimum of 10 years experience on the site of large construction projects; Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role in health & safety on a large construction project; Proven experience in tunneling or underground works, preferably with TBM operations, or maritime works; Certified NCSO-IHSA or CRSP or the US equivalent; Knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Regulations; Experience with safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments; COR Auditor training is preferred Ability to conduct safety training and enforce safety policies; Strong communication and leadershp skills; Exhibit strong time management skills; High attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving; Demonstrate practical knowledge of current health and safety legislation Familiarity with safety management systems and incident reporting tools; Experience working on projects with high-risk environments (nuclear, offshore, or similar) Gross annual salary between 140K and 165K, depending on experience and profile 4 vacation weeks & 3 emergency/sickness days paid Annual bonuses Group Health Insurance (premium participation including virtual health care system) Career development opportunities; A cosmopolite and inclusive work environment Attractive and challenging project.

Exigences
Requires at least 10 years of large construction project experience, including 5 years in a leadership role and specific expertise in tunneling or maritime works. Must hold a certified NCSO-IHSA, CRSP, or US equivalent certification and have deep knowledge of Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
