Position Details Job Number: JR00021 Department: Patient Food Services Charlton Job Type: Regular, Part time Work Environment: In-Person Contract Duration: (If applicable) 0 months Number of Positions: 1 Hourly Rate (Min / Max): Schedule Work Days: Time of Day: Shift: Shift Start: (If applicable) Application Dates Opening Date: 2026-06-01 Closing Date: Job Description Qualifications * College program required with a focus on Nutrition, Dietetics or Food & Nutrition Management preferred * Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics or Applied Food Science is preferred * Eligibility for membership in Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM) is an asset * Preferred experience with Nutrition interfacing programs * 1 - 3 years practical and related experience with a minimum of one year on the job training * Must be able to be self directed and self motivated * Must have the ability to prioritize and complete tasks within given time restraints * Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills * Demonstrated knowledge and experience with food safety and sanitation * Must have conflict resolution skills * Must be proficient with MS Office * Must have understanding of WHMIS * Experience in a unionized setting is an asset * Must possess excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills Responsibilities Some responsibilities include: * Oversee the department staffing * Perform quality management responsibilities * Manage unit/department financial resources * Perform corporate management responsibilities that support and advance SJHH's goals * Develop, implement and maintain departmental procedures * Ensure ingredient database is current for dietary compliancy * Other duties as assigned Reason for Posting This position is for an existing vacancy #SJHHjobs St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH) is an equal opportunity employer and strives for equity, inclusiveness, and diversity in all our programs, practices, facilities, and people. Exigences

Requires a college program in Nutrition or Dietetics, with a Bachelor's degree preferred and eligibility for CSNM membership. Candidates need 1-3 years of related experience, including supervisory skills and knowledge of food safety and WHMIS.
